Registration Fees:

Regular (through April 15, 2023): Member $500 Non-Member $550

Registration includes the following: welcome package, Thursday plenary session, Friday poster and breakout session, breakfast Tuesday through Friday, Wednesday evening vendor reception, Thursday lunch and Thursday evening Banquet. For those attending only workshops, no registration fee is required.

  • By attending this meeting, I agree to follow any and all safety measures set by state and local governments, venue management, and/or The Southern Association of Forensic Scientists (SAFS) to protect against the spread of COVID-19. This may include, but is not limited to, masks and physical distancing. Vaccination against the COVID-19 virus is encouraged but will not be required for attendance. I also acknowledge that attendance at this meeting is at my own risk and neither SAFS nor Hilton can be held responsible for any illness or injury which occurs as a result of attendance at this meeting.

  • Note: Students must be currently registered in a curriculum leading to a career in Forensic Science to qualify. This fee ONLY covers the Thursday breakfast and plenary session as well as the Friday breakfast and breakout sessions. This fee does not include the banquet.

    Full refunds or transfers to a future event will be issued if the meeting is cancelled by SAFS.

  • Workshops

    Half day workshop fee includes AM or PM snacks. Full day workshop fee includes AM/PM snacks and lunch. Two half day workshops on the same day also includes lunch. Workshop attendees will receive a lunch ticket in their welcome packet as appropriate. Workshop space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The SAFS Meeting Committee reserves the right to cancel any workshops if timely registrations are not received for the minimum number of participants. Registration numbers will be evaluated at the end of March. Notification and full refund of the workshop fee will be made for those workshops cancelled by the Meeting Planning Committee.
